Cloth Simulation
When: March 2019
Where: Technical Animation, CMU
Role: Graphics Programmer
Tools: Autodesk Maya (Python - Maya CMDS Module)
Constraint-based cloth simulation created in Maya using Python and Maya's CMDS library.

With this, I studied how different elements and parameters effect the behaviour of the simulation and wrote a tool in Maya which sets frames of the simulation to Maya's timeline for quick and easy rendering of videos. These videos allow solid side by side comparisons of cloth with different properties.

Functionality for parametric collisions with spheres and planes was also implemented.
